This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team in the GS Finance Accounting process area. The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world.

The GSF accounting team is responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all transactions. This includes but is not limited to creating the Sales and corresponding Purchase orders, reconciling out of balances, monitoring ageing, and performing balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and follow J&J guidelines

2. Maintain Operational Excellence

- Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for GSF Accounting process area for simple and medium complex MRCs.

- Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.

- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.

- Knowledge of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.

- Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.

- Ensure strong internal controls are in place and support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.

3. Be a Trusted Business Partner

- Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Operational Key Contacts (OKC's) to ensure cross process alignment.

4. Create Game-Changing Innovation

- Generate ideas, fosters, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.

- Execute process improvements in line with global standards.

Requirements And Skills

- Education : Minimum Bachelor’s level degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline.

- 1-2 years of experience.

- Digital: Actively supports company's digitalization goals. Adaptability and challenging the status quo, along with continuous improvement through technology.

- English: Advanced. Effectively communicates ideas in written and oral forms, with a broad vocabulary and appropriate grammar. Confidence in speaking, reading, and writing to engage in business discussions and meetings. Effective communication skills

- Accounting: Understands accounting principles and financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow), ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

- Compliance: Ensures adherence to laws, regulations, and policies for ethical and legal conduct. Understands financial controls and maintains strong compliance awareness.

- Collaboration: Works with others to achieve common goals, sharing ideas and perspectives. Fosters mutual respect for knowledge, experiences, contributions, and inputs.

- Continuous Improvement: Identifies issues and enhances processes for efficiency, using data-driven decisions. Promotes collaboration and change management to foster innovation..
