About the role

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Trainee/Junior React Developer in Lviv, Ternopil, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, or Poland.

ABOUT PROJECT

Our client is a leading British‑American insurance broker, specializing in risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and investment banking solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

- Basic knowledge of React development. Finished courses or little commercial experience.

- Upper-intermediate level of English

- Strong desire to learn and develop new knowledge and skills

- Great soft skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, and maintain software in line with technical requirements

- Detect defects and perform analysis, verification, and debugging of software; correctly interpret bug reports

- Apply the best software development practices and coding standards

- Agree on task deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager

- Track changes and compare source code in the version control system
