We're looking for an ambitious and people-focused leader to join our Assistant Store Manager Bench team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to enter the business, fast-track your understanding of our unique retail model, and build the experience needed to progress into future Store Manager opportunities.

You'll support a variety of neighbouring stores across the region, helping leadership teams continue to deliver exceptional performance, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Stores supported within this region include:

- Glasgow Silverburn

- Paisely

- Braehead

The Opportunity
As an Assistant Store Manager Bench Head, you'll gain exposure to multiple stores, leadership teams, and operating environments. You'll support stores across the region where additional leadership capability is required, whether that's covering vacancies, supporting development plans, helping during peak trading periods, or strengthening operational performance.
This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from different store teams while developing a comprehensive understanding of what makes TK Maxx successful.

What You'll Do

- Partner with Store Managers to deliver business performance and operational excellence.

- Support leadership teams across multiple store locations.

- Lead, coach, and develop large teams to achieve outstanding results.

- Help drive recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development.

- Support stock flow, Door to Floor execution, customer experience, and store standards.

- Maintain compliance, health & safety, and payroll controls.

- Step into leadership roles as required to support neighbouring stores.

- Identify opportunities to improve performance and share best practice across the region.

Compensation & Travel
The successful candidate will be assigned a designated base store within the region. Travel expenses are catered for when travelling to support stores beyond your base store location, in line with company policy.
