WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

Are you ready to start your career in a forward-thinking and innovative environment? At SimCorp Sofia Consulting Services, we're looking for motivated professionals to join our team. You’ll be part of a group that provides high-quality advisory services, support, and implementation of our software, SimCorp Sofia. Your role will be crucial in adapting and delivering our software to meet the unique needs of our clients.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in Investment Management and Consulting through a structured, hands-on learning journey. As the onboarding process is extensive and designed to build deep domain knowledge, we are looking for candidates who are motivated to grow within the role over the long term and are willing to invest time in their professional development.
The onboarding program includes approximately 1.5 months of training and on-the-job learning in Milan, with costs covered by SimCorp. This is followed by a period of full-time office-based collaboration in Pistoia or Trieste. After the first year, employees transition to a flexible hybrid working model with two days per week in the office. Success in this role requires curiosity, perseverance, patience, and a genuine desire to build expertise over time.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Product Development Support: Contribute to the development process by gathering requirements, creating specifications, and documenting features.

- Help Desk and User Support: Be the go-to person for SimCorp Sofia users, solving their queries and ensuring smooth operations.

- Product Enhancement: Propose innovative software enhancements based on user feedback and practical use cases.

- Shadowing and Learning: Work alongside experienced consultants, learning the ropes through direct experience in analysis and testing.

- Client Support for Extraordinary Events: Assist clients during significant changes like mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring.

WHAT WE VALUE

- A degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics or a related field

- Proficiency in English and Italian

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including in time-sensitive situations

- Interest in financial markets and investment management

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, users, and clients

- Attention to detail and a structured approach to documenting and testing solutions

- Affinity for technology, curiosity and eagerness to learn new systems and tools

The salary range for this position is between 23.360,00 - 35.040,00 EUR RAL in base compensation, under the CCNL Commercio framework. Additionally, employees are eligible to benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Total compensation, including possible bonuses, may vary depending on role, location, department, and individual performance.
