Grade Level (for internal use):
09 About the Role

Transaction Management is a dynamic and highly collaborative team responsible for enabling and managing sales fulfillment processes in an active sales environment. Transaction Management Representatives demonstrate deep proficiency in data and systems management and a high level of responsiveness to support robust sales operations practices.

The team develops a strong understanding of ratings products and their application across global capital markets, strengthening the organization's relationship with existing accounts by delivering quality, efficient, and standardized customer service — both pre- and post-sale — while playing a critical role in ensuring audit and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

- Support sales implementation processes, including order execution, accurate billing, and system entry to ensure maximum revenue realization.

- Collaborate with Business Developers, Relationship Managers, Product Managers, and other Transaction Managers to own the sales pipeline and handle transactional customer queries with accuracy and responsiveness.

- Act as a bridge between Sales and other internal functions — including data, IT, finance, and product teams — maintaining alignment across cross-functional and global groups.

- Maintain knowledge of pricing strategies and approval guidelines to serve as a reliable contact point for external client queries and inter-team support.

- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and company policies while managing high-volume workflows independently with a strong eye for detail.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, rapidly changing workstreams with a high degree of accuracy and a technology-oriented, detail-focused approach.

- Strong attention to detail and a persistent, results-oriented approach, with the ability to deliver accurate work within tight timelines.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, macros, and pivot tables.

- English: Required — Fluent (able to conduct meetings, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally).

Preferred or Helpful Experience

- Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform.

- Understanding of primary ratings products and services, with a foundational knowledge of capital markets.

Additional Information

- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in operations, client service, or a related field.

- We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

- Employees are required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
