About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Sales Ops Specialist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting sales operations and ensuring the smooth execution of customer projects across a dynamic IT services environment. You will act as a central point of contact between clients, manufacturers, distributors, and internal departments, helping streamline processes and maintain strong business relationships. You will also contribute to reporting, operational improvements, and team development while ensuring accuracy and timely execution across all sales activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who enjoys collaboration, problem-solving, and working in a fast-growing technology environment. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement and requires fluency in both French and English.
Accountabilities:
- Work closely with assigned Client Directors to understand customer projects, provide day-to-day sales and operational support, and ensure efficient coordination of business activities.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations when required, helping ensure clear communication and effective customer support.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Client Directors, customers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.
- Source products from manufacturers and distributors, obtaining accurate pricing, availability information, and current delivery lead times.
- Prepare customer quotations, pricing templates, and other sales documentation in accordance with internal guidelines.
- Process and submit sales orders accurately and efficiently, coordinating with the relevant internal teams to ensure timely execution.
- Identify and submit applicable opportunity registrations, document potential vendor rebates, and coordinate rebate claims in collaboration with Vendor Management and Client Directors.
- Coordinate product delivery logistics and communicate with relevant stakeholders to support successful order fulfillment.
- Initiate product return requests within the assigned territory and submit the necessary documentation to Finance for tracking and resolution.
- Prepare and maintain accurate, relevant, and timely sales and operational reports.
- Maintain and renew all required sales certifications to ensure compliance with vendor and business requirements.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with manufacturers and key distribution contacts to support effective sales operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, operational efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of the Inside Sales function.
- Support the onboarding and development of new team members by providing training and guidance on internal processes.
- Take ownership of additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a sales support, sales operations, or sales administration role, preferably within the IT industry.
- Fluency in both French and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Good understanding of the IT channel ecosystem, including experience working with manufacturers, distributors, and technology partners.
- Previous experience supporting sales teams, managing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating customer projects.
- College diploma or university degree preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HubSpot, ConnectWise Sell, and NetSuite is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to work independently while knowing when to seek support from colleagues.
- Ability to remain organized and productive under pressure in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Adaptability, accountability, and a proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership of deliverables and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who is comfortable working within a national team while providing regional-level support.
Please note: This is a sales operations and support position, not a business development role. It does not involve cold calling or scheduling appointments and meetings for Client Directors.
Benefits:
- Full-time employment opportunity.
- Remote working arrangement.
- Opportunity to work within a growing IT services and managed services environment.
- Exposure to a broad range of technology solutions, vendors, manufacturers, and distribution partners.
- Collaborative and supportive team environment with opportunities to work across multiple business units and departments.

- Opportunity to contribute ideas, improve operational processes, and take ownership of meaningful projects.
- Inclusive workplace that values diversity, equal opportunity, and different backgrounds and perspectives.
- Workplace accommodations and adjustments available throughout the recruitment process and employment.
