Vice President, Platform Engineering

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Build and evolve core platform services across public cloud (Azure as primary platform, AWS as secondary)

- Write production-quality code — this is a hands-on engineering role (80%)

- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred) and automation-first delivery

- Develop internal developer platform and self-service tooling

- Ensure platforms are secure, reliable, and observable by design

- Partner with teams across Europe, North America, and India

- Act as a senior technical authority and mentor engineers

Qualifications

Key Skills

- Azure (primary platform) with AWS exposure

- Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation or similar acceptable

- CI/CD experience – GitLab preferred (Jenkins, TeamCity, Harness acceptable)

What We’re Looking For

- Senior hands-on platform / cloud engineer (not a manager-led role) with 10+ years of experience

- Demonstrated experience designing and building scalable systems

- Strong coding, automation, and problem-solving mindset

- Comfortable working across globally distributed teams
