Caregiver – Holly Springs, NC
A family in Holly Springs, NC 27540 is seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical support for an older adult. The ideal candidate will assist with daily hygiene, mobility support, and routine household care in a peaceful, smoke-free home environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Sunday (7 days a week)
- 8 AM - 12 PM or 1 PM
- Approximately 28-35 hours per week total (or divided among two candidates)
Family Specifications:
- Clean, well-kept, and smoke-free home
- No pets in the household
- Supportive home environment focused on helping the care recipient gain mobility and independence
Responsibilities:
- Personal hygiene assistance, including shower support
- Light mobility and transfer assistance
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Basic household tasks and light housekeeping
- Companionship and general support
- Transportation to occasional medical appointments using the care recipient's vehicle, as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience providing senior care or non-medical personal care assistance
- Experience or comfort assisting with light mobility support, transfers, and hygiene
- Ability to manage medication reminders
Preferred:
- Valid driver's license and comfort driving the care recipient's vehicle for occasional appointments
Compensation:
- $20 - $23 per hour
