As a Production & Process Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting production operations while driving process excellence, productivity improvements, and EHS compliance. Working closely with the Production Manager and Process/Asset Manager, you will contribute to operational performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and sustainable plant operations.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related discipline. Master's degree is an asset.
- 1-3 years of experience in production environments, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Fluent in English.
- Good command of MS Office applications and SAP.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with different stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and operational excellence principles is a plus.
- Residing in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli or the Anatolian side of İstanbul.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the management of daily production operations and contribute to the coordination of production activities.
- Monitor production performance, analyze operational data, and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Support Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives and continuous improvement projects across the production area.
- Contribute to process and plant safety improvements in collaboration with Production and Process/Asset Management teams.
- Participate in production trials, process optimization activities, and new product implementations.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards, legal requirements, and internal company policies.
- Coordinate SAP-related processes, inventory counting activities, and indirect material procurement activities.
- Support budget planning and cost control activities for the production department.
- Contribute to the development and training of production employees, fostering a culture of safety, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure production assets remain available and capable of meeting operational requirements.
