- Lead end-to-end underwriting projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure in alignment with company objectives.
- Act as the primary Underwriting Project Lead and single point of contact for all project-related matters within the underwriting function.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders — including Actuarial, Product Development, Compliance, Claims, Legal, IT, and Finance — to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) on underwriting principles and practices within cross-functional project discussions and workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects within an insurance.
- Strong working knowledge of life insurance underwriting principles, risk assessment, and product structures.
- Familiarity with underwriting systems, policy administration platforms, and digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
