We know our drivers are the heartbeat of our business. That’s why we make sure you’re well-paid, respected, and home when it matters. We offer competitive hourly pay, consistent year-round work, strong benefits, and schedules designed to keep drivers home when it matters.
The Pay & Perks
- Safe-driving bonus of up to $3,200 per year
- 1-2 overnight routes/week — no scheduled weekends
- Medical, dental, vision + 401(k)
- Start earning Paid Time Off (PTO) on your first day, accruing 3 weeks annually. PTO is available for use after 90 days of employment.
- Safety footwear reimbursement
- Employee discounts on pet food & supplies (yes, really — Pet Perks)
The Equipment
- Freightliner, Volvo, Hino, and International trucks
- Automatic and manual transmissions
- Daycab tractors and 26' box trucks
- Liftgates and reefer units on select routes
The Routes
- Delivery area spans PA, NJ, MD, DE, WV, VA — as far west as Columbus and Cleveland, and up to Rochester, Buffalo, and all 4 NYC boroughs
- Average 400 miles and 15 stops per route
- Start times vary by route, generally between 3:00 AM and 7:00 AM
- Expect at least a 10-hour workday
- Mix of highway miles, rural roads, and congested city driving (including NYC boroughs) — route variety keeps the job from feeling repetitive
Our NYC routes are an important part of serving our customers, and all drivers are expected to complete them as needed. The additional $100 bonus recognizes the extra time and effort these routes may require.
The Job
- Drive a tractor-trailer on assigned local/regional routes
- Deliver pet food & supplies inside to independent retailers
- Unload with pallet/hand jacks
- Keep accurate delivery paperwork per state & federal rules
This is a hands-on delivery role. Drivers must be comfortable unloading product, entering and exiting the truck throughout the day, and providing a high level of customer service.
What You Bring
- CDL Class B license + valid DOT Medical Certificate
- 1+ year of CDL driving experience (lift gate experience a plus)
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and get in/out of the truck repeatedly
- Solid customer service skills — you're often the only face customers see from us
- Can pass a physical, drug test, background check, and MVR review
Why Drivers Stick Around
We don't just say drivers are the heartbeat of this business- we build the schedule around it. Predictable routes. No weekend surprises. Real benefits, not a checklist.
