About the role
We're looking for a CLX Property Advocate to help our UK customers through some of the most stressful moments they'll face as policyholders. You'll join our Claims Experience team and own property claims from first report to resolution, keeping every interaction fast, fair, and caring. This role is remote, and you'll need to be online during UK working hours.
We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL
- Handle property claims end to end across email, phone, and chat.
- Investigate and settle claims independently, keeping resolution times tight.
- Own the complex and sensitive claims where judgment, empathy, and experience matter most.
- Prioritize your daily caseload so no customer waits longer than they should.
- Partner with fellow advocates to flag edge cases and shape how we handle them.
- Spot patterns in recurring claim types and share them with the team to build smarter processes.
- Keep our tone warm and human in every conversation, especially the hard ones.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Hands-on experience handling complex and large claims, preferably in property insurance
- Working knowledge of UK consumer insurance rules, including the fair treatment of customers
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to explain a complex claim simply
- A customer-first mindset, plus the empathy and patience to stay steady when someone is stressed or frustrated
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift, and real curiosity about how AI tools can sharpen your work
- A CII qualification, complex building claims experience, or time at a digital-first insurer (a bonus, not a must)
- Ability to work in a remote environment
