Custodian

We are searching for a detail-orientated individual to join our team at the Hope Bargain Center! The ideal candidate has previous cleaning experience and will thrive in a faith-based, healthy, intentional work environment. If this sounds like you, let us know by submitting an application.

Position Objective: Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and other areas of the Hope Bargain Center.
Classification: Part-time (between 20-25 weekly hours) are available.
Supervisor: Store Manager

Experience, Education, Requirements:
• Proven working experience as a janitor preferred but not required
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Ability to work independently
• Good Work Ethic
• Available to complete the majority of tasks before store opening

Summary of Responsibility – Illustrative, not all inclusive:
• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, etc.)
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Represent a Christian organization
• Get along well with others from varied backgrounds
• Assist in maintaining intentional, faith-based, healthy, healing community and code of conduct.
