Delivery Driver (Part Time)

Position Summary:

The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers. This role serves as a representative of the company during deliveries and requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The Driver ensures products are transported and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining positive customer interactions.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops, industrial facilities, and other customer locations.

- Verify and load customer orders accurately based on invoices or packing slips.

- Unload deliveries at customer sites, ensuring products are delivered in good condition.

- Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery records as required.

- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

- Assist in warehouse duties when needed (e.g., stocking, picking, packing).

- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations and policies

- Provide excellent service and represent Colours, Inc. in a professional and courteous manner.

- Perform other duties within store as assigned during driver downtime.

Requirements
Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus.

- Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.

- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently

- Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful

- Comfortable with basic technology tools, such as handheld devices, routing apps, and delivery logs.

- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Maintains a clean driving record and always represents Colours, Inc. in a professional manner.
