DHT is hiring Mid-Level and Skilled Diesel Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift at our Reese, Michigan maintenance facility.
We're looking for dependable, experienced technicians who know their way around Class 8 trucks and trailers and take pride in diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and keeping equipment moving.
Whether you're a solid mid-level technician looking to develop your diagnostic skills or an experienced technician comfortable tackling complex repairs, we have opportunities for you.

What You'll Do

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Class 8 trucks and trailers

- Perform engine, drivetrain, and transmission repairs

- Diagnose electrical and electronic system problems

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air and brake systems

- Perform preventive maintenance and DOT-related inspections

- Use diagnostic software and equipment to identify faults and determine necessary repairs

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures

- Perform truck and trailer maintenance and repairs

- Respond to road service and emergency repair needs as assigned

- Complete repairs safely, accurately, and efficiently

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For

- Previous hands-on diesel repair experience

- Experience maintaining and repairing Class 8 trucks and/or trailers

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities

- Electrical and electronic diagnostic experience appropriate to skill level

- Familiarity with diagnostic software such as DiagnosticLink, Cummins INSITE, Bendix, or WABCO is a plus

- Ability to work independently and make sound repair decisions within your experience level

- Dependable attendance and strong work habits

- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift
