Director, Software Engineering

What you will own

- Team Leadership & Talent Growth: Recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse team of development, QA, and support engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and teamwork.

- End-to-End Product Delivery: Drive multiple large initiatives simultaneously across multiple scrum teams, managing project plans, resource allocation, and budget needs.

- Technical Direction & Excellence: Lead the design, security, and scalability of resilient solutions using modern DevOps and secure coding practices to protect against financial security threats.

- Stakeholder & Roadmap Collaboration: Partner closely with product teams and key stakeholders to estimate project timelines, manage dependencies, and define product roadmaps.

What you will bring

- 14 or more years of software development experience with deep technical roots using Java and/or Microsoft .NET technologies.

- 4 or more years of leadership experience directly managing, mentoring, and assessing the capacity of software engineering professionals.

- High proficiency in Agile methodologies with a proven track record of running multiple concurrent scrum teams and driving accurate project estimates.

- Deep mastery of modern DevOps and QA practices to continuously improve delivery speed, code craftsmanship, and system availability.
It is a bonus if you have

- Experience managing third-party consultants and external vendors to successfully scale team delivery capabilities.

- A strong track record of active participation in tech communities , helping teams stay ahead of emerging technology trends and security compliance.
