Job Description & Summary
The role primarily focuses on client due diligence (Know Your Client or KYC), background screening, risk assessment and compliance activities that help the firm understand its clients, manage financial crime and reputational risks, and support informed business decisions.

As a Risk & Quality Analyst, you will support client and third-party due diligence reviews, screening, documentation, risk assessment and escalation activities in accordance with firm policies and applicable regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with engagement teams, R&Q colleagues and other stakeholders to support quality execution, timely completion and sound risk management.

What success looks like: sound judgement, accurate and timely execution, responsible escalation, strong stakeholder collaboration, and curiosity to learn beyond one specialist process.

KYC, client due diligence and risk assessment

- Perform end-to-end client and third-party due diligence reviews in accordance with firm policies, applicable requirements, and established quality standards.

- Gather, validate, and assess information relating to legal entities, ownership and control, ultimate beneficial owners, key individuals, business activities, risk indicators, and relevant screening results.

- Prepare clear and complete KYC documentation, including the basis for conclusions, risk assessment outcomes and recommended actions.

- Identify potential financial crime, legal, regulatory, reputational, independence or other risk concerns and escalate them through the appropriate consultation channels.

- Exercise professional skepticism and sound judgment when evaluating incomplete, inconsistent or potentially adverse information.
Compliance operations, monitoring and quality

- Maintain accurate and complete records, trackers, and supporting documentation, while observing confidentiality, data protection, and information security requirements.

- Meet agreed service levels, deadlines and productivity expectations without compromising quality, risk identification, or compliance.

- Support ongoing monitoring, remediation, peer reviews, quality checks and root cause analysis, as assigned.

- Keep abreast of relevant policy, process, regulatory, and system updates and apply them consistently in day-to-day work.
Stakeholder support and collaboration

- Coordinate professionally with engagement teams, internal functions, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to obtain information, clarify requirements, and resolve cases.

- Communicate findings, documentation gaps, risk considerations, decisions required and next steps clearly and on a timely basis.

- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment through knowledge sharing, constructive feedback, and support for colleagues.
Broader risk management and continuous improvement

- Support other Risk & Quality activities, projects, or workstreams based on business needs and the associate’s readiness and development plan.

- Assist in developing or updating procedures, guidance, training materials, reports, and management information.

- Identify opportunities to improve controls, workflows, stakeholder experience, data quality, and operational efficiency, including the responsible use of technology and automation.

- Take ownership of learning goals and build capability across risk management, compliance, quality, and related areas over time.

Qualifications and experience

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, law, economics, international relations or another relevant discipline. Applicants from other disciplines with strong analytical skills may also be considered.

- CMA certification or any financial crime certification would be an advantage.

- Entry-level candidates and professionals with experience in risk management, compliance, KYC, due diligence, audit, research, operations, or a similar environment may be considered.

- Experience with KYC, AML, sanctions, adverse-information research, onboarding, or risk assessment is an advantage but is not required.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn firm systems and digital solutions.
