About the role
Job Title: Investment Banking & M&A Expert
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote (US/Canada preferred; UK and Latin America considered)
Time Commitment: 10+ hours/week; 20+ preferred
Job Overview
We are seeking experienced investment banking and M&A professionals to build realistic transaction scenarios and use AI agents to develop and evaluate valuation models, deal materials, and financial deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Build transaction environments using company information, financial statements, and due diligence materials.
- Design tasks involving valuation, comparable-company analysis, financial modeling, and sell-side advisory.
- Develop and review CIMs, pitch books, valuation models, and supporting documents using AI agents.
- Create task instructions and objective evaluation criteria.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A, or sell-side advisory.
- Proven experience preparing valuation models, comparable-company analyses, CIMs, and pitch books for live deals.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Corporate carve-out experience (strongly preferred).
- Experience at a top-tier investment bank or M&A advisory firm.
- Industrials sector experience.
- Experience developing review standards, training materials, or AI evaluation benchmarks.
- Availability for 20+ hours per week.
