Grinder Operator

Greenbridge is seeking a Grinder Operator to support the ongoing growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Grinding preforms, strapping and scrap to supply production. Monitor quality of ground material.

- Accurately report the amount and type of material ground. Work with minimal supervision.

- Provide backup for Receiving Dept.: railcar unloading; reading silos; loading recycled cardboard; unloading packaging supplies; etc.

- Blade changes, dust collector filter servicing (cleaning, changing)

- Work safely, understand and comply with all safety requirements

- Maintain clean work area (grinding room, material staging areas, receiving aisle)

- Able to safely and effectively operate a forklift to stack, unstack and position gaylords and tubs

- Able to work independently to complete tasks safely and efficiently

- Able to use hand tools for servicing grinder

- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

- Read, write and possess basic math skills

- Good Mechanical aptitude and experience

- Prior manufacturing experience a plus

- Meticulous attention to detail.

- Successfully uses all tools, proper stamps, package product accordingly and other equipment.

- Good manual dexterity and agility

- Physically lift 60 lbs. to a six-foot height
