Head of Finance Customer Support NXE/EXE

Job Mission
Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to the Customer Support Management Teams for EUV & EXE. In this role, you provide financial leadership across a complex global matrix organization: aligning strategic objectives with clear financial priorities and be a key stakeholder in decision making. In addition, Lead selected projects that are initiated at CS MT level.

Job Description

- Partner with Customer Support EUV & EXE and senior leadership to define business strategy and translate this into financial objectives and actions.

- Act as bridge builder across sectors and business lines, providing an independent Finance view on what is best for ASML as a whole.

- Drive Installed Base margin improvements through improved services, cost reduction programs and validated business cases.

- Lead the business review and financial planning cycle, including LE, MOR, TAP and LTFP, ensuring alignment with ASML’s long-term objectives for EUV & EXE.

- Own selective strategic topics and projects assigned by the Head of Customer Support, leading cross-CS implementation through influence, stakeholder alignment and disciplined execution.

- Drive process optimization, standardization and innovation in Finance policies, reporting and insight-driven analysis worldwide.

- Act as backup/representative for the Head of Finance Customer Support when needed

The Senior Business Controller Customer Support EUV & EXE reports to the Head of Finance Customer Support. Other interfaces include the other CS Controllers, other Business Controllers of Sectors and Business Lines and the supporting Business Insight & Control and Accounting teams.

Education

- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field, preferably followed by a chartered controller qualification such as RC, RA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or equivalent

- Fluent in English

Experience

- More than 12 years of progressive senior Finance leadership experience, including at least 10 years in Business Control roles operating as a trusted Management Team partner in large, international industrial or complex technology organizations.

- Proven ability to shape financial strategy, steer executive decision making and drive business performance across business unit, sector, divisional or group-level environments.

- Demonstrated experience building organizational capability, leading diverse high-performing teams and developing senior Finance talent in a demanding, global business environment.

- Strategic financial planning and business partnering expertise

- Strong understanding of lifecycle cost models, installed base value drivers and field service economics, with the ability to translate insights into strategic direction and measurable business impact

- ERP& Data-Driven Financial Decision-Making – SAP and BI Tools proficiency

- Executive presence and strategic influence - engages and shapes decisions at the highest levels

- Collaborative leadership – builds strong cross-functional partnerships to align business priorities

- Ability to lead without hierarchical authority – influences stakeholders and drives financial discipline in a complex matrixed environment

- Resilience and decision-making under pressure – Navigates ambiguity and ensures financial rigor while enabling business agility

- Clear and impactful communication – conveys complex information in a concise, actionable manner tailored to diverse audiences

- High-ownership leader who takes accountability for complex, cross-sector topics from strategic framing through execution, while enabling others and continuously raising the performance bar.
