Overview:
Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide.

Position Status: Flexible Hours

Position Location: Woodbridge, VA

Overview
Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Certification/Licensure

- CNA or unexpired nurse aide certification from accredited program. One of these is required.

- BLS (Required within 90 days)

Experience

- Basic and routine patient care

- Personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding

- Intake/output

- Ambulation

- Assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.10 - $29.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
