We are seeking reliable Housekeepers for one of our reputable clients in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidates will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Job Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect residents’ rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
Empty garbage bins and dispose of waste properly.
Collect, wash, fold, and distribute laundry as required.
Replenish cleaning supplies and washroom essentials.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages.
Complete cleaning checklists and required documentation.
Respect residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings.
Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Ability to communicate in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
Knowledge of cleaning practices and infection prevention procedures.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills.
Ability to perform the physical duties of the role safely.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as required.
