Come Join Our Team At Anteriad and innovate the way B2B marketers make data-driven business decisions.
Anteriad is seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to serve as a trusted HR partner across the organization. This role is ideal for a well-rounded HR professional with strong generalist expertise who can confidently manage a broad range of responsibilities, including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, benefits administration, compliance, policy interpretation, onboarding, offboarding, and day-to-day employee and manager support. You’ll coach managers through complex employee situations, ask thoughtful questions, anticipate needs, and recognize issues that may not be immediately apparent, with the ability to read between the lines when situations are not straightforward. You’ll be trusted with highly confidential employee and business matters and expected to exercise exceptional discretion and sound judgment in determining when to act independently and when to escalate.
As part of a collaborative HR team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, work closely with leaders across the organization, and take ownership of important and often sensitive matters. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating without a defined playbook, with the maturity, initiative, and potential to take on increasing responsibility and grow into the next level of HR leadership.
What You’ll Do:
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for managers and employees on workplace concerns, employee relations matters, and HR policies.
- Coach managers through employee performance, conduct, attendance, and behavioral concerns.
- Draft and review disciplinary documentation, including verbal and written warnings, performance improvement plans, last-chance agreements, and other corrective action documentation.
- Conduct or support workplace investigations and appropriately document findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
- Help managers distinguish between performance, conduct, policy, and employee relations issues and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Identify potential employee relations risks and escalate significant matters appropriately.
- Maintain thorough, objective, and confidential documentation.
Benefits Administration
- Support the administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits questions and enrollment benefit-related issues.
- Support annual open enrollment, employee communications, benefit changes, and vendor coordination.
- Partner with benefits brokers, carriers, payroll, and other vendors to resolve employee issues.
- Assist with leave administration and other benefit-related processes.
HR Generalist Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, leaves, performance management, and offboarding.
- Prepare and review employee documentation, including offer-related materials, compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and separation documentation.
- Support new-hire onboarding and ensure employees and managers receive a consistent and professional experience.
- Maintain personnel records and HR documentation accurately and confidentially.
- Support HRIS data integrity, reporting, audits, and recurring HR processes.
- Assist with compensation, performance review, engagement, learning and development, and other HR programs as needed.
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and business leaders on cross-functional employee matters.
- Assist with separation processes, including resignations, involuntary terminations, exit documentation, and offboarding.
Compliance & Policy
- Support compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Interpret and consistently apply HR policies while recognizing situations that require judgment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
- Assist with the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee communications.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and recordkeeping practices are followed.
- Recognize potential legal, compliance, or employee relations concerns and escalate them appropriately rather than attempting to resolve matters outside the role's authority or expertise.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience , preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager capacity.
- Strong hands-on experience with employee relations, performance management, disciplinary documentation, benefits administration, and HR operations.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Experience working with HRIS, benefits administration, and payroll-related processes.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly the ability to draft clear, factual, and appropriately worded employee documentation.
- Experience supporting employees and managers across multiple states and/or international locations is highly desirable.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is preferred but not required.
Key Competencies
- Judgment: Understands the broader implications of HR decisions and knows when additional context or escalation is needed.
- Discretion: Can be trusted with highly sensitive employee and business information.
- Employee Relations: Handles difficult situations professionally, objectively, and confidently.
- Business Acumen: Understands that effective HR decisions must consider both the employee experience and business needs.
- Critical Thinking: Looks beyond the immediate question to identify underlying issues, risks, and potential next steps.
- Ownership: Takes responsibility for issues from beginning to resolution rather than simply passing them along.
- Attention to Detail: Produces accurate, well-documented work and recognizes when small details could have larger implications.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working through ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Growth Potential: Demonstrates the capability, curiosity, and maturity to develop into a more senior HR role.
