Inventory Specialist

Position:  DF Inventory Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: 700 E 107th St Chicago, IL 60628
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to work in a temperature-controlled refrigerator and freezer warehouse. In this role, you will work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure inventory accuracy, proper product rotation, and efficient warehouse organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Track and maintain accurate inventory records.

- Perform routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.

- Monitor product expiration dates to help prevent product loss.

- Maintain proper inventory organization and storage within the refrigerator and freezer areas.

- Assist the Inventory Manager with inventory discrepancies and other inventory-related tasks.
Requirements

- Must have one (1) year stand-up forklift and EPJ experience.

- At least one (1)  year of warehouse experience.

- Ability to work in a cold, temperature-controlled environment, including refrigerator and freezer areas.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to follow inventory procedures and safety guidelines.

- Candidates must also be available to work occasionally on Saturdays.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds
