Your role
This is a student position as a Junior Demand & Supply Coordinator, where you will be part of AbbVie’s supply chain function for Scandinavia, covering four countries including Iceland. You will report to the Manager Demand & Supply Scandinavia and work closely with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Medical and Regulatory.
The role involves a lot of hands-on operational work, from order-to-cash to warehouse and inventory flows. Many of these processes are still manual and Excel-driven, and this is where you come in. Once you understand how things work today, your main mission is to make them smarter by using AI and other tools to automate repetitive routine tasks.
Key responsibilities
Identify and automate manual processes using AI, Excel and other tools
Monitor overall inventory, including stock management
Manage pharma orders together with AbbVie’s centralized service functions and external partners, including shipping and packing notifications, certificate uploads and backorder management
Monitor wholesaler inventory and handle exceptions with internal stakeholders
Maintain master data (price, material, customer) together with the central SAP service team
Carry out internal control activities and take part in internal and external audits
Contribute to various projects across the team
Qualifications
Ongoing university studies in a relevant field, for example in IT, engineering, supply chain, logistics or finance.
Strong interest in and hands-on experience with AI tools and Excel
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is a plus
Fluent in English, and preferably one Scandinavian language, both spoken and written
As a person, you take initiative and drive your work forward on your own. You’re structured and have an eye for detail, and have strong analytical skills and a structured, administrative mindset.
You communicate clearly with colleagues across functions and countries. You’re quick-thinking and technically curious, and you enjoy figuring things out yourself, especially when it means making a process simpler or faster. You’re comfortable working independently but also thrive as part of a team in an international environment.
Location: Solna, Stockholm
Scope: 2 days per week. Hours/days of work could be increased during summer to cover the vacations.
