The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you’ll do:

Eaton's Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Lead Business Analyst. This position is part of the Line Installation and Protective Equipment (LIPE) team and supports Eaton's underground separable connector portfolio. As utilities modernize infrastructure and demand continues to grow across commercial, industrial, and data center markets, this role offers the opportunity to influence strategic decisions that drive portfolio growth, support innovation, and create customer value. Up to 25% travel.

This role is responsible for leading business analysis and commercial execution for Eaton's underground cable accessories portfolio by converting customer, market, financial, operational, and competitive information into actionable product, launch, and growth recommendations. As a strategic business partner, you will identify market opportunities, support commercialization initiatives, develop data-driven recommendations, and help guide investments that contribute to portfolio vitality and long-term growth.

In this role, you will build success through:

Business Analysis & Market Intelligence
•    Market Analysis: Analyze utility, commercial and industrial, data center, and adjacent underground-market trends and convert findings into strategic recommendations.
•    Business Cases: Develop market requirements, business cases, value propositions, forecasts, risk assessments, pricing inputs, and commercialization plans.
•    Portfolio Growth: Support portfolio vitality, market growth initiatives, and strategic plan execution.

Product Development & Commercialization
•    PROLaunch Support: Support PROLaunch and NPD programs from customer discovery through commercialization and post-launch review.
•    Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate activities across Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
•    Launch Execution: Track actions, risks, dependencies, and launch-readiness activities to successful completion.

Customer & Commercial Support
•    Customer Experience: Support a strong end-to-end customer experience by coordinating timely responses to product availability, lead-time, quality, technical, and launch-related issues and partnering cross-functionally to drive resolution.
•    Pricing Support: Prepare quotes, margin analyses, and pricing recommendations aligned with business objectives.
•    Marketing Content: Create customer presentations, training materials, digital content, product literature, and application guidance.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a utility, sales, project management, marketing, or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field (BSEET or BSME).
-Industry experience at a utility or manufacturer.
-Experience with market modeling, competitive analysis, customer interviews, product launches, pricing, and portfolio strategy.
