About the role
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer (.NET/Angular) based in Brazil.
Take on a technical leadership role within a dynamic software engineering environment focused on enterprise modernization and cloud architecture. As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and AWS. You will work across both legacy enterprise systems and modern cloud-native architectures, helping organizations modernize critical technology platforms. Your responsibilities will include database optimization, event-driven integrations, production troubleshooting, and architectural decision-making. Working directly with North American enterprise stakeholders, you will translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions. This fully remote opportunity offers significant technical ownership, international collaboration, and the chance to contribute to high-impact engineering projects.
Accountabilities
As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of software architecture, development, and technical delivery while supporting enterprise modernization initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:
-
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and Microsoft SQL Server.
-
Work across legacy technologies, including .NET Framework, WinForms, and on-premises infrastructure, as well as modern architectures using .NET 10 and AWS cloud services.
-
Design and maintain relational database schemas, optimize complex SQL queries, and improve data access layers to ensure performance and reliability.
-
Develop and maintain event-driven integrations and asynchronous messaging workflows using Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
-
Leverage AWS services for application development, deployments, pipeline integrations, and cloud-native troubleshooting.
-
Investigate production incidents, analyze application logs, participate in root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
-
Review user stories, development tickets, and technical specifications, identifying missing information and clarifying requirements proactively.
-
Take technical ownership of assigned features, architectural decisions, development standards, and code quality.
-
Communicate directly with North American enterprise clients to understand business requirements, present technical solutions, and provide project updates.
-
Collaborate with client engineering teams, technical leads, and product owners within an Agile and distributed working environment.
-
Recommend practical architectural improvements and explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-
Contribute to legacy application modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines extensive full-stack development expertise with strong architectural judgment, technical ownership, and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable managing complex enterprise systems independently and collaborating directly with international clients. Key qualifications include:
-
At least 5 years of professional full-stack software development experience, with 7–8+ years strongly preferred.
-
Advanced hands-on expertise in C# and .NET, covering legacy .NET Framework environments through modern .NET 10 development.
-
Strong frontend development experience with Angular.
-
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, performance tuning, query optimization, and data access layers.
-
Practical experience working with AWS cloud services in production environments.
-
Experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies and event-driven architectures.
-
Proven ability to maintain legacy desktop and on-premises applications, including WinForms, while developing modern cloud-native solutions.
-
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to participate in technical discussions, explain production issues, and consult directly with US-based clients.
-
Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with daily overlap during US business hours.
-
A reliable remote working setup, including a quiet home office, high-speed internet connection, and dependable computer equipment.
-
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, combined with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
Additional qualifications that will be considered an advantage include:
-
Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior Software Engineer with direct architectural responsibility.
-
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations.
-
Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration technologies.
-
Experience leading legacy application modernization or cloud migration projects.
-
Previous experience in technology consulting, software development agencies, or client-facing engineering environments.
-
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities.
Benefits
-
Competitive hourly compensation of USD 40–50 , with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
-
Estimated monthly earnings of USD 6,400–8,000 , based on a full-time schedule.
-
Full-time contract opportunity of 40 hours per week.
-
100% remote working arrangement from Brazil.
-
Opportunity to collaborate directly with North American enterprise clients and technical leadership teams.
-
Exposure to modern technologies, including .NET 10, Angular, AWS, and Apache Kafka.
-
Significant technical ownership and opportunities to influence enterprise architecture and modernization strategies.
-
Experience working on complex, high-impact software engineering projects.
-
International collaboration within a technology consulting environment.
-
Opportunity to strengthen technical leadership and client-facing consulting skills.
