Lead Youth Counselor

Isleworth Golf & Country Club is looking for an exceptional Lead Youth Counselor.   Come join a fun-filled team that provides unforgettable experiences to our youngest members.  This opportunity is for someone who loves being with children, and families, is creative and enjoys planning fun events.  This position also plays an important role in helping to provide guidance to our youth staff.

Responsibilities:

- Works in conjunction with Youth Services Director with all things related  to youth

- Knowledgeable of company policies and procedures as it refers to the youth department

- Is aware of other club events and can handle member inquiries in a professional manner

- Supervises children when in our care and adheres to all rules especially safety regarding our younger members

- Assists parents when signing their children in and out, including checking identification when necessary

- Assists with coming up with event ideas and creation of decorations for events

- Assists with event set-up and take down

- Performs routine safety checks of all areas for events before we begin and ensures proper set up and take down.  Makes sure  all areas are free from debris and left in the way we found them

- Engages with children during activity time

- Oversees cleanliness of department

- Has flexibility with scheduling and private event needs

Requirements

- Previous experience working in a supervisory role in childcare preferred

- Must enjoy working with children of all ages.

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule days/nights, weekends and holidays.

- Proficient with Microsoft products
