Purpose of the Role:

The Lettings Agent is the face of Purplebricks in their local area, giving landlords expert advice and guidance so they can navigate the lettings process with confidence.

Working remotely, you’ll value properties, win new instructions and guide landlords one-to-one through the whole journey, building lasting relationships through a sales-through-service approach, with no cold calling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work remotely to support landlords throughout the lettings journey.

- Give landlords accurate rental valuations, using local knowledge, property insight and data-driven tools to recommend the best rental value and attract quality tenants quickly.

- Offer up-to-date advice on property legislation and the rental market.

- Value new business opportunities and convert them into successful instructions, demonstrating the value of our service.

- Guide clients one-to-one through the whole process with a personal and professional touch.

- Support landlords from first contact through to a successful let, with tailored advice that makes the process simple, transparent and stress-free.

- Stay ahead of local trends, pricing shifts and demand, using this insight to add real value to client conversations and decisions.

- Represent the Purplebricks brand with pride online, face to face and on the phone, upholding our values and professionalism.

- Work closely with the central operations team so the customer experience is smooth, from marketing and compliance to referencing and move-ins.

- Increase revenue by offering relevant add-on services, such as property management, insurance and professional photography.

- Keep up to date with UK lettings legislation so you and the business stay compliant at every stage, acting as the go-to expert on legal obligations and industry standards.

- Use face-to-face interactions to build trust, identify
needs and offer tailored solutions, turning conversations into long-term client relationships.

- Build strong, lasting relationships through a sales-through-service approach, with no cold calling required .

- Take ownership of your performance and work towards clearly defined goals.

Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Essential:

- Exceptional people skills, able to build genuine connections and create positive experiences with people from all walks of life , in person and remotely.

- A passion for delivering excellent customer service, putting the customer first and solving problems proactively.

- Strong attention to detail across compliance, contracts, valuations and marketing.

- Confident analysing data and using IT to stay organised, efficient and informed.

- A strong desire to be part of a successful business, treating the role like your own business: committed, driven and always looking to improve.

- Good verbal and written communication, able to explain complex information simply.

- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use, for local valuations, viewings and client meetings.

- Outstanding sales ability through service, trust and expertise , confident identifying opportunities and converting interest into long-term partnerships.

Desirable:

- Experience in lettings, property valuations or estate agency.

- Knowledge of UK lettings legislation.
