Logistics Assistant

To assist Logistic Executive in coordination on the documentation processes for import clearance at the destination port, coordination with the forwarding agent on the clearance and arrangement to external warehouse and also direct to customer site. This position will assist our Logistic Executive to manage the warehouse & logistics functions by ensuring all customers order are produced as per customer requirements.  Working closely with the Logistic team on the arrangement and ensure finished goods are store into the warehouse or directly into the customer site and upkeep the inventory management to ensure accuracy of the products.

General Job Functions
1.     Assisting Logistic Executive to ensure all related procedures relating to import clearance, stamping and warehouse & distribution are in compliance with guidelines.
2.     Ensuring the correct information inputs in system and updated on a timely manner.
3.     Assisting Logistic Executive to prepare Purchase Requisition for deposit payment for custom clearance to appointed forwarding agent.
4.     Ensure all data are captured in system to reflect actual physical quantity.
5.     Back up for Logistic Executive in the event of leave, EL or MC.
6.     Manage incoming goods and coordination with external warehouse and local sales team for smooth delivery to customer site.
7.     Assist Logistic Executive in producing the timely report on stock movement, stock balance, stock status and trigger action when and where necessary.
8. Any other job assigned by immediate superior.
