We are now looking for Manager, Global Pricing to join UPM. This position is located in Helsinki, Finland.
Greetings from your future manager
“I’m looking for an experienced pricing leader to take ownership of how we price globally, and to make pricing one of our strongest levers for profitable growth. You’ll set the direction for our pricing processes and governance, steer the regional pricing managers as one global community, and work directly with senior leadership to turn price and margin insight into decisions. The role sits at global level in a regionally led organisation, so your impact will come from credibility, sound analysis and the confidence to challenge the status quo. If you combine commercial judgement with a genuine curiosity about what the numbers are telling us, I’d look forward to meeting you.”- Kalle Taari, Director, Portfolio Strategy and Performance
What you will do
- Take end-to-end ownership of the pricing processes and the governance around them

- Maintain and develop pricing analytics and reporting for senior management and decision forums
- Build pricing capability in the Sales organisation and promote consistent pricing decisions through influence and leadership
Who you are

- You have hands-on experience with pricing processes, price-setting governance, and pricing analytics
- You are experienced in leading cross-functional and regional initiatives within an international matrix organization
- You are fact-driven and analytical, with the confidence to present to and constructively challenge senior executives
- You have a strong understanding of how Sales, Finance, and Operations interact across the end-to-end value chain
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
