Position Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator supports execution of regional marketing priorities by coordinating cross-category initiatives, managing marketing operations, and driving day-to-day project coordination across the USCAN marketing organization. The role is the primary regional liaison to Marketing Communications, Insights, and other enterprise functions, translating regional business needs into clear briefs, timelines, inputs, and decisions while ensuring the appropriate functional owners lead strategy, content creation, analysis, brand governance, and external communications.

The Marketing Coordinator provides dedicated coordination for shared regional activities that span multiple categories and channels, including trade shows, customer events, sales enablement, Marketplace LIVE, and enterprise marketing initiatives. The role connects Category Marketing, Sales, Technical, Insights, Marketing Communications, and other enabling functions so work is aligned, routed to the right owner, and delivered on time. By coordinating these activities, the role enables category marketers to focus on strategy, customer engagement, innovation, and growth.

This is a coordination and integration role, not a functional strategy or subject-matter ownership role. Success is measured by alignment, execution, communication, and on-time project delivery across teams. Category strategy, customer strategy, insight generation, technical recommendations, content creation, communications planning, and brand direction remain with the respective functional owners and subject-matter experts. This position is an excellent development opportunity for an early-career marketing professional seeking broad exposure to B2B marketing, cross-functional project management, customer engagement, and go-to-market execution.

Core Responsibilities:
Marketing Project Coordination

- Coordinate execution of regional marketing initiatives across categories, channels, and business teams, with clear ownership, timelines, decision points, and handoffs.

- Develop and maintain project timelines, action plans, and project trackers.

- Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met.

- Serve as the regional coordination point across Category Marketing, Sales, Technical, Insights, Marketing Communications, and other enterprise functions; escalate unclear ownership or competing priorities to the appropriate marketing leader.

Trade Show and Event Execution

- Coordinate regional requirements, inputs, logistics, and timelines for trade shows, customer events, innovation workshops, and other marketing activities in partnership with the functions accountable for event strategy, creative, promotion, production, and customer objectives.

- Connect Category Marketing, Sales, Technical, Insights, Marketing Communications, and event partners to align regional objectives, audiences, messages, roles, and deliverables.

- Coordinate post-event follow-up, reporting, lead and action routing, and closure of regional commitments. Functional owners remain accountable for event strategy, customer objectives, technical demonstrations, content, and communications plans.

Marketplace LIVE and Strategic Program Support

- Coordinate regional planning activities, stakeholder inputs, timelines, and deliverables for Marketplace LIVE and other strategic marketing initiatives. Program sponsors and functional leaders retain ownership of strategy, content, and business decisions.

- Maintain project plans and ensure alignment across participating teams.

- Track action items and support execution of key workstreams.

Sales Enablement and Commercial Support

- Maintain and organize approved shared sales enablement tools, presentations, and customer-facing resources; coordinate with content owners for creation or substantive updates.

- Coordinate regional requirements, review cycles, approvals, updates, and distribution of marketing materials across commercial teams.

- Coordinate development of customer meeting materials by gathering inputs, clarifying the brief, and routing work to Category Marketing, Insights, Technical, Sales, or Marketing Communications based on ownership.

- Help ensure tools use approved messaging, templates, and brand standards. Category teams own category messaging and commercial recommendations; Sales owns account and customer strategy; Technical owns technical claims and recommendations; Marketing Communications owns brand and communications standards.

Regional Marketing Communications Liaison

- Serve as the primary USCAN marketing liaison to Marketing Communications for regional priorities, campaigns, events, and content needs.

- Translate regional business needs into clear briefs, consolidate stakeholder input, coordinate review and approvals, and track delivery against agreed timelines.

- Partner with Marketing Communications on activation of approved plans. Marketing Communications retains ownership of communications strategy, editorial direction, channel planning, content creation and copywriting, campaign and creative development, media and public relations, social media, website content, brand governance, and external publishing.

Marketing Asset and Resource Management

- Maintain shared repositories for approved presentations, sales tools, event materials, and marketing assets, using the systems and governance established by content owners.

- Coordinate with content owners to confirm regional materials remain current, approved, organized, and accessible.

- Manage regional version control and distribution of approved resources; do not independently alter controlled messaging, creative, technical claims, research findings, or brand assets.

Marketing Operations and Reporting

- Maintain marketing project dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools.

- Coordinate collection and consolidation of regional marketing activity and performance metrics from the accountable teams. Functional owners retain responsibility for metric definitions, analysis, interpretation, and performance recommendations.

- Assist with budget tracking, purchase orders, invoice processing, and vendor coordination.

- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across marketing processes.

Customer Engagement Support

- Coordinate regional logistics, briefs, inputs, and preparation for customer workshops, ideation sessions, and marketing events. Category Marketing and Sales retain ownership of customer objectives and engagement strategy; Insights owns research and insight generation; Technical owns technical content and recommendations.

- Support customer engagement tracking, action routing, and follow-up coordination; customer and account ownership remains with Sales and the relevant commercial leaders.

- Maintain access to approved customer-facing tools and route requests for new or revised materials, research, technical content, or communications support to the appropriate owner.

Qualified candidates will have:
Education

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field required.

Experience

- 0-3 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, event coordination, marketing operations, or a related field.

- Internship or early-career experience in marketing operations, project coordination, or cross-functional program support preferred.

- Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment preferred.

Required behaviors and skills:

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.

- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow within the marketing organization.

- Ability to work effectively across functions, build strong working relationships, and clarify ownership, decision rights, and handoffs.
