As a Medical Aesthetician at Refine by Medcan, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional aesthetic treatments while developing, managing, and growing your own book of business. You will take ownership of the client experience from consultation through treatment and follow-up, building lasting relationships that foster client loyalty, repeat visits, referrals, and long-term practice growth.

This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, relationship-focused, and passionate about helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals through a comprehensive approach that incorporates treatments, medical-grade skincare, and collaboration with our clinical team.

What You’ll Do

- Perform a wide range of medical aesthetic treatments offered at Refine by Medcan while delivering an exceptional client experience.

- Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and develop customized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique concerns, goals, and lifestyle.

- Build, manage, and grow your own book of business through client retention, referrals, rebooking, and exceptional service.

- Take ownership of each client's treatment journey, ensuring appropriate follow-up and progression through recommended treatment plans.

- Build long-term relationships by acting as a trusted advisor for skincare, laser treatments, and aesthetic services.

- Collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and Refine Consultants to create integrated treatment plans that optimize client outcomes.

- Educate clients on treatment options, expected results, treatment intervals, and pre- and post-treatment care instructions.

- Recommend medical-grade skincare products and homecare programs that complement and enhance treatment results.

- Support the growth of the practice through consultation conversions, package sales, retail recommendations, client referrals, and treatment plan adherence.

- Identify opportunities to incorporate complementary treatments and services that align with each client's goals.

- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).

- Adhere to all Medcan clinical, infection prevention, safety, and operational protocols.

- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current on emerging technologies, treatments, and industry best practices.

- Support promotional events, educational initiatives, and practice development activities as required.

What You’ll Need:

- Licensed Medical Aesthetician.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in a medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, or medical spa environment.

- Proven ability to build and maintain a loyal client base through a consultative, relationship-focused approach.

- Strong consultation, treatment planning, and client education skills.

- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Experience working within an EMR environment.

- Passion for client care, continuous learning, and professional development.

This position is a full-time, in-person role operating during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). The successful candidate must be available to provide occasional Saturday coverage based on operational needs.

Position Pay Range
Pay range based on projected On-Target Earnings for year one of employment.

The compensation range provided in this posting reflects a projected estimate for the first year of employment and includes base salary plus anticipated variable commission earnings. Actual commission will vary based on individual performance, team targets, and business conditions. Over time, commission earnings may grow as the employee gains experience, builds client relationships, and achieves performance milestones. This projection is not a guarantee of future earnings and should be viewed as an illustrative example based on current compensation models.​
