About the Role
The MEP Assistant Project Manager (APM) is responsible for every MEP facet of a small project, or a portion of a larger one. This is an entry-level managerial role and a transitional step from MEP Project Coordinator to MEP Project Manager, working with roughly 70–75% autonomy under the guidance of an MEP Project Manager.
The MEP APM is accountable for client requests, budget, quality, schedule, safety and profitability on their scope. The role offers more opportunity to act as the direct liaison with clients and subtrades, and carries authority to sign subtrade contracts and purchase orders in line with the company's signing authority matrix.
The MEP APM works closely with the Site Superintendent, MEP Director and MEP Estimation team, and supervises MEP Project Coordinators and Project Administrators.
