Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC tool grinding machines for PCD tool pocket and flute grinding production
- Manufacture and recondition PCD drills, end mills, reamers, step drills, and special cutting tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool designs.
- Perform tool measurements using tool presetters, microscopes, and measuring instruments.
- Optimize grinding parameters to achieve required tool geometry and surface finish.
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain production records.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Experience in PCD tool manufacturing and regrinding.
- Knowledge of CNC tool grinding machines and NUMUTO software
- Ability to read technical drawings and tool geometry specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality standards.
- Understanding of cutting tool applications and machining processes.
Profile & Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma / Engineering or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in PCD tool manufacturing and regrinding.
- Hands-on experience with CNC tool grinding machines.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tool geometries.
- Knowledge of PCD drills, end mills, reamers, and special cutting tools.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and machine setup skills.
- Familiarity with cutting tool applications, machining processes, and safety standards.
