Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VOLLMER Wire Cut EDM machines.
- Load programs and adjust machining parameters.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments.
- Maintain production and quality records.
- Follow safety and housekeeping standards.
- Experience in Wire Cut EDM machine operation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and Auto cad & machine maintenance.
Profile & Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in operating VOLLMER Wire Cut EDM machines.
- Experience in carbide, PCD, or precision cutting tool manufacturing is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in setting machine parameters, program loading, and process optimization.
- Knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals, AutoCAD, and machine maintenance practices.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for machine operations and quality-related issues.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, productivity, and safety standards.
- Ability to maintain production reports, inspection records, and process documentation.
