About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Marketing and Events Specialist based in Canada.

Join a growing professional services organization dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and building strong relationships across the legal and corporate sectors. As a Partner Marketing and Events Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing collaborative marketing initiatives and memorable events with strategic partners. You will oversee the entire event lifecycle, from initial planning and creative development to logistics, execution, and post-event analysis. Working closely with internal marketing teams, external partners, and vendors, you will create engaging campaigns and experiences that strengthen relationships and drive shared business objectives. You will also contribute to marketing communications, partner engagement strategies, and the continuous improvement of event operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, creative, and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and remote working environment.

Accountabilities:

- Develop, coordinate, and execute joint marketing events and partner activations that engage shared audiences and support mutual business and marketing objectives.

- Manage the complete event lifecycle, including planning, concept development, budgeting coordination, logistics, execution, and post-event follow-up.

- Collaborate with strategic partners and internal stakeholders to establish event objectives, responsibilities, timelines, messaging, and deliverables.

- Create and coordinate partner-specific marketing materials, including co-branded presentations, invitations, landing pages, promotional campaigns, and event collateral.

- Develop compelling marketing copy and joint messaging that reflects partner value propositions, audience needs, and brand guidelines while coordinating approvals before publication.

- Coordinate promotional activities, targeted outreach, and follow-up campaigns to maximize event attendance and audience engagement.

- Work closely with the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team to manage Salesforce campaigns, maintain accurate records, monitor engagement, and report on event performance.

- Develop creative concepts for experiential events that strengthen client relationships and deliver engaging experiences.

- Prepare PowerPoint presentations outlining conference and trade show participation, sponsorship details, event plans, and post-event performance reports.

- Build electronic invitations, landing pages, and targeted email campaigns using Salesforce.

- Identify and develop targeted, persona-based contact lists to support event outreach and audience segmentation.

- Research and source suitable venues, coordinate suppliers, and manage external vendors to ensure successful event delivery.

- Collaborate with designers and creative teams to develop high-quality visual materials and promotional assets for events and marketing campaigns.

- Coordinate the procurement of promotional merchandise, event materials, and other resources required for successful activations.

- Manage the preparation, organization, and shipment of exhibition materials and event resources when required.

- Provide broader logistical and operational support to the Marketing and Client Engagement teams as needed.

- Independently manage additional departmental projects outside the events function, ensuring priorities, deadlines, and deliverables are effectively coordinated.

- Evaluate event outcomes, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve future partner marketing initiatives and event experiences.

Requirements:

- At least three years of professional experience in event management, marketing, partner marketing, or a related field, preferably within a professional services organization.

- Previous experience planning and delivering events from initial concept through execution and post-event evaluation.

- Experience coordinating joint marketing initiatives, partner events, sponsorships, or co-branded campaigns is a strong advantage.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, engaging, and audience-focused marketing content.

- Experience creating marketing materials, presentations, invitations, landing pages, and promotional communications tailored to specific partners and audiences.

- Familiarity with Salesforce, particularly campaign creation, contact management, outreach coordination, and performance tracking.

- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience developing professional presentations for conferences, sponsorships, and internal or external stakeholders.

- Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to coordinate timelines, logistics, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders.

- Experience working with external vendors, suppliers, venues, and creative professionals, with confidence in managing relationships and communicating expectations both remotely and on-site.

- Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills, with the ability to align partners and internal teams around shared objectives, messaging, and deadlines.

- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain professional, positive, and composed under pressure.

- Flexibility to work additional hours, including early mornings and evenings, when required to support event schedules.

- Willingness and ability to travel to other cities when necessary for conferences, partner meetings, and events.

- Adaptability and a hands-on mindset, with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities beyond the traditional scope of event management.

Benefits:

- Remote working: Fully remote working arrangements, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada.

- Employment type: Full-time position.

- International exposure: Opportunities to collaborate with partners, clients, and professionals across different markets.

- Professional development: Exposure to diverse marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships, and large-scale professional events.

- Creative ownership: Opportunities to develop innovative event concepts, shape partner marketing strategies, and contribute new ideas.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, client engagement, revenue operations, creative teams, and external partners.

- Career growth: Opportunity to expand expertise in partner marketing, event management, campaign execution, and stakeholder relationship management.

- Dynamic environment: Join a growing organization where initiative, collaboration, and independent project ownership are valued.
