PR Coordinator
SeaDream Yacht Club - West Palm Beach, Florida
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000
Position: Full-time, In-office
About the role
SeaDream Yacht Club is looking for a motivated, well-organized PR Coordinator to join our marketing team in West Palm Beach. You'll be the day-to-day point of contact for our PR agencies. You'll also manage our regional newsletters and awards program and help build SeaDream's presence in the Palm Beach market. This is a great opportunity for an early-career PR professional who wants hands-on experience with a luxury travel brand and room to grow.
What you'll be promoting
Not just cruising: yachting. SeaDream offers mega-yacht vacations to some of the world's most intimate and exotic destinations. We deliver personalized service, inclusive adventures, world-class cuisine and the chance to create unforgettable "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences. Guests may join us for a romantic getaway or a milestone celebration, or charter an entire yacht for unmatched customization and service.
What you'll do
- Be the main point of contact for all of SeaDream's PR agencies: share briefs, track timelines and deliverables, and keep everyone aligned
- Track and report press coverage and agency results to the Head of Marketing
- Manage our regional newsletters from planning through distribution
- Own the awards calendar: research opportunities, prepare submissions and track results
- Help draft press releases, media pitches, fact sheets and press materials, working with our Marketing team
- Build relationships with Palm Beach media, local press and community partners
- Find and coordinate local PR opportunities, press visits and media events in Palm Beach
- Maintain media lists, press kits and the image library
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in PR, communications or marketing (agency, in-house or internship experience all count)
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or a related field
- Excellent written and spoken English, with a strong eye for detail
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple agencies, deadlines and projects at once
- Proactive and self-driven, comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Confident, polished and personable when representing the brand with media and local partners
- Based in the Palm Beach area
A big plus
- Experience or a strong interest in travel, hospitality, luxury or high-end services
- Existing connections with South Florida or Palm Beach media
- Familiarity with media databases and coverage monitoring tools (e.g., Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater)
