Check my fitAbout the role
This is a hands-on, cross-category role and the operational backbone of the product creation team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Metalwoods and supporting all hard goods categories — metalwoods, irons, wedges, putters, custom, and SFIT — this person is the central owner of sample management and keeps the day-to-day running: gathering sample demand, coordinating vendors and buying teams, setting up product for events, creating digital and physical assets, keeping build specs updated, and supporting every category with documentation and system setup (Caddie, PDDs, and all master data).
The rest of the role is AI and reporting support. This person is the team's go-to for using AI tools like Claude to build and maintain dashboards and find better, faster ways to work with data. A big part of that is the global reporting loop — pulling performance data from the regions, finding new ways to look at it, and rolling it up into a global view of how clubs are performing, then getting that in front of the team. The focus is on gathering and presenting the data cleanly and reliably, not owning the strategic call.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Hardgoods Sample Management
- Demand gathering. Own the collection of sample demand across categories and teams, consolidating needs into clear, actionable orders.
- Vendor coordination. Support PLMs with vendors to order, build, and expedite samples, keeping timelines on track.
- Buying & category coordination. Assist with buying teams and category groups so the right product is sampled at the right time.
- Event product setup. Set up and supply product for events, activations, and key meetings for Product Creation Team members.
- End-to-end tracking & reporting. Track every sample from order to delivery and keep status visible and reliable for the teams that depend on it (fittings, sales, marketing/creative, media).
- Warehouse & logistics. Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams on receiving, storage, shipping, and returns.
Product & category support
- Asset creation. Build and maintain the digital and physical assets categories need — spec sheets, sample documentation, fitting and retail support materials — accurate and on time.
- Build-spec integrity (Caddie). Support the Custom team with build specs across categories to confirm they're complete, accurate, and populated in the system. Maintain club logic, tipping logic, and shaft qualification, and resolve discrepancies at the source.
- Documentation & master data. Audit documentation and system setup current across every category (Caddie, PDDs, and all master data).
- Custom & SFIT support. Support SFIT — assets, presence, and day-to-day operations. EBS ordering, support and reporting.
- Regional support. Assist Product Line Managers with requests to support regional teams with the specs, samples, and materials they need to execute.
- Launch training & key events. Assist with product launch trainings for internal customers, and support execution at major events and key activations.
AI tooling & dashboards
- Enable the team. Be the key resource helping the rest of the team use Claude to create new tools and better ways to look at data — turning manual, repetitive work into repeatable workflows.
- Own the dashboards. Build, improve, and maintain the team's dashboards and reporting, keeping them accurate and useful as needs evolve.
- Pull & provide the data. Pull the data, build the views, and get reporting in front of the team and leadership for meetings and reviews — making sure the numbers are accurate, clear, and on time.
- Push the tooling forward. Look for new opportunities where AI can improve how the team works, and bring those ideas to life.
Global reporting & feedback loop
- Global performance reporting. Partner with Product Managers to gather performance data from the regions and find new, better ways to look at it — rolling it up into a global view of how clubs are performing across our key regions, and getting it to the team.
- Capture feedback from regions, accounts, fitters, and other partners (retail and green grass), structure it, and route it back to the category teams so it informs product and build decisions.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for spec, sample, and asset questions across the categories.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.
- Ability to accurately assess talent and effectively motivate and influence others to build skills, efficiently accomplish tasks, and develop leading edge processes.
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Marketing, Advertising, or other related field
- 1+ years of professional experience in related role.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage.
- Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
- Frequent travel may be required.
