SAP Lead technical Consultant

At Danish Crown, we are transforming our SAP landscape. We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Lead who can bring specialists together and turn complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, from architecture and development to go-live and operational handover.

Joining Global IT, you will work across the SAP programme, business units and group functions. In close collaboration with architects, functional leads, technical specialists and external partners, you will connect business needs with technical delivery and ensure that our SAP solutions are scalable, secure and ready for long-term operation.

Your role as SAP Technical Lead

As SAP Technical Lead, you will own the technical direction and quality of SAP solutions across the transformation programme. You will provide technical governance across development, integration, platform services, security and operations, keeping delivery aligned with business requirements, architecture and IT roadmaps. Your leadership will be technical and collaborative, guiding specialists and partners across teams and domains.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Define and maintain technical principles, standards and solution designs, support architectural roadmaps and review integrations, extensions and non-functional requirements.

- Lead and coordinate technical delivery across SAP Basis, development, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), integration, security and external partners, applying agile delivery principles.

- Own technical analysis, estimates, peer reviews, documentation and quality assurance, while identifying and resolving technical risks, dependencies and decisions.

- Support technical and performance testing, cutover and deployment, and ensure that monitoring, support models, documentation and operational handover are ready before go-live.

- Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across teams and suppliers to deliver secure, supportable solutions that comply with our standards.

- Advise programme leadership, business stakeholders and senior management, facilitate technical workshops and mentor specialists through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

With a structured, pragmatic approach, you create clarity, make informed decisions and maintain progress when requirements are not yet fully defined. You communicate options and recommendations clearly and build strong working relationships with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.

We imagine that you bring:

- Relevant higher education in IT, computer science, engineering or a comparable discipline.

- Extensive technical leadership experience from complex SAP programmes or transformations.

- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and related platforms, development and integration technologies.

- Experience coordinating internal specialists, implementation partners and vendors in a complex, matrix-based and business-critical environment.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.

- A consulting mindset focused on business value, quality and long-term supportability.

- Relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
