The Role

As our Recruiter , you will own the end to end recruitment lifecycle to scale our high-performing team during a critical phase of hypergrowth. This is a hands on role where you will partner closely with Leadership, Engineering, Product, and Business Development teams to identify, attract, and hire world class talent.

With a strong emphasis on technical recruitment , you will be responsible for sourcing elite software engineers, infrastructure specialists, and product leads who can build the frontier of enterprise AI. As well as roles outside of Product Development as needed. You will act as the face of Valarian, delivering an exceptional candidate experience and embedding our culture of inclusivity, compassion, and high performance into our hiring practices.

What you’ll do:

End to End Execution: Own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and non technical roles, from initial scoping and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.

Technical Sourcing: Build robust talent pipelines for niche and highly competitive roles across elite engineering, cyber security, AI infrastructure, and product design.

Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, defining role requirements, setting realistic market expectations, and structuring rigorous evaluation processes.

Candidate Experience: Deliver a transparent, respectful, and world class candidate journey that reflects Valarian’s brand and mission.

Data Driven Recruitment: Track, analyse, and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source effectiveness, pipeline health) to optimise hiring strategies.

Employer Branding: Partner with marketing and design teams to elevate Valarian’s presence within the tech ecosystem via events, tech talks, and digital channels.

Process Improvement: Design and implement scalable recruiting frameworks, interview rubrics, and interviewer training as the business expands globally.

What you’ll bring:

Proven Tech Recruitment Experience: Demonstrated track record sourcing and closing high-calibre technical talent (e.g., Software, DevOps, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, or Deep Tech) within a fast-paced agency or in-house environment.

Hyper Growth Agility: Experience thriving in a high growth, venture backed startup or scale-up environment, managing competing priorities with speed and precision.

Advanced Sourcing Capabilities: Expertise in modern sourcing tools and techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, tech communities) to uncover passive, elite talent.

Strong Relationship Building: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage senior technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
