Position Overview:

The Outpatient Endoscopy Center Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in an outpatient setting. Whether you’re an experienced RN or a new graduate eager to start your nursing career , this is a great opportunity to join a supportive, team-oriented environment that values learning, professionalism, and patient-centered care.
You’ll collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team to ensure every patient receives safe, efficient, and reassuring care throughout their visit — with the added benefit of no call, no weekends, and no holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessments, including medical history review and vital signs
- Educate patients and families about procedures, preparation, and post-care instructions
- Prepare and assist patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Provide intra-procedure support to physicians and anesthesia staff, monitoring vital signs and maintaining a sterile environment
- Oversee post-procedure recovery, monitor patient status, and provide discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, and MAs to provide seamless, coordinated care
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Arkansas .
- We welcome new grads!
- Previous experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
- BLS certification required ; ACLS preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
