Security Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Security Engineer based in India.

The Security Engineer will play a key role in strengthening security operations by investigating complex security incidents, improving threat detection capabilities, and developing automation to streamline incident response. You will handle Level 2 and Level 3 Security Operations Center (SOC) escalations while analyzing security data across endpoints, identities, cloud environments, networks, and applications. The role combines hands-on incident response with detection engineering, threat hunting, and security platform optimization. You will also develop automated workflows that reduce repetitive tasks and improve the efficiency of frontline security teams. Working in a collaborative technical environment, you will partner with internal stakeholders and external security providers to enhance monitoring coverage and operational resilience.
