Your Role at Baxter

The Purchasing Process and Systems team is dedicated to harmonizing purchasing processes and technologies across Baxter. Serving as the central support function for the Purchasing and Supplier Management (PSM) organization globally, the team drives standardization, consistency, and continuous improvement across PSM-related systems, processes, and reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for providing functional support for purchasing tools across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe region. You will also serve as a key point of contact for the business, delivering technical assistance and support in an efficient, effective, and customer-focused manner.

What you’ll be doing

- Provide support to Asia-Pacific (APAC) users of purchasing processes and systems.

- Resolve queries, issues, and system-related concerns raised by Procure-to-Pay (P2P) users.

- Administer Purchasing and Supplier Management (PSM) systems, including Coupa, BSM, I-Contract, and SharePoint.

- Prepare and compile reports, including the monthly distribution of PSM metrics and other reports as required.

- Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of new P2P technologies, as well as upgrades to existing systems, including Coupa enhancements and electronic catalogs.

- Deliver training to P2P users across the Asia-Pacific region.

- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with PSM processes and policies.

- Assist in ensuring that compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is monitored, measured, and achieved.

- Facilitate training on both existing and newly implemented processes.

- Actively participate in, or lead, projects and initiatives focused on continuous process improvement.

What You'll Bring

- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA), Procurement Specialist, Procure-to-Pay (P2P) professional, Accounts Payable specialist, or in a related business operations role within a global organization.

- Hands-on experience with Coupa, Ariba, or similar Source-to-Pay (S2P) and procurement platforms.

- Strong understanding of business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder management, and solution delivery.

- Experience supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, purchasing operations, supplier management, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

- Proven experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement within a cross-functional, matrixed organization.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards (JDE), or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment while managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business needs.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Technology (IT), or a related field.
