The Role
We are currently hiring for a Senior Claims Examiner to manage complex professional indemnity, cyber and technology claims from initial investigation through to effective resolution.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Claims ownership: Manage a varied portfolio of complex professional indemnity, cyber and technology claims within agreed authority levels.
Coverage and investigation: Interpret complex policy wordings, investigate claims thoroughly and assess liability, quantum and exposure.
Resolution strategy: Work with brokers, insureds, experts and legal partners to deliver timely, commercially sound settlements and defence strategies.
Reserving and reporting: Set accurate reserves, identify emerging trends and provide clear analysis and reporting to management.
Team contribution: Support less experienced colleagues, maintain high-quality claim data and contribute to projects and presentations.

What We’re Looking For:
Complex claims experience: Proven experience handling complex professional indemnity, cyber, technology or closely related commercial claims.
Technical judgement: Strong coverage analysis, reserving and quantum assessment skills, with confidence working within delegated authority.
Negotiation skills: A track record of developing effective settlement strategies and resolving challenging claims with multiple stakeholders.
Commercial awareness: Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulation and market developments affecting complex claims.
Professional collaboration: Clear communication, accurate reporting and the ability to guide colleagues while working effectively with brokers, insureds and experts.
