Senior Finance Specialist

Job Responsibilities :

- Identify opportunities to automate finance processes using AI and digital tools

- Apply AI to analyse financial data, identify anomalies, trends and business risks.

- Support implementation of finance automation initiatives such as workflow automation, reconciliation automation and reporting automation.

- Preparation of tax submissions including sales service tax, import service tax, and withholding tax.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments

- Conduct monthly bank reconciliation

- Prepare reports and analysis related to accounts receivable

- Generate monthly statements for customers

- Review accounts receivable aging to ensure compliance

- Address customer queries and resolve any issues

- Prepare Interco billing invoice and Interco movement details

- Support month-end closing activities

- Assist with statutory audit requirements

- Assist with Treasury related matter

- Manage subsidiary company management accounts

- Identify problematic accounts and provide regular updates to management

- Collaborate with accounts payable and other accounting staff to ensure financial accuracy

Requirements:

- Possess minimum 3 years’ working experience in financial and management reporting.

- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

- Strategic thinking but also hands on and able to deep dive into details as required.

- Great communication skills and able to present complex issues in a simple and structured manner.

- Able to think and work systematically to identify and recommend process changes to improve work effectiveness and efficiencies, and controls.

- Ability to work with tight time frames, assist in direct, supervise and coach subordinates, multi-task, manage resource usage efficiently and priorities task for timely completion

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products is a must (Excel, PowerPoint)

- Experience with Global/Regional Finance for compliance, accounting processes, systems and control environment is an advantage
