About the Team
You’ll join a team where people work with integrity, inclusion, innovation, agility, collaboration and commitment. In practice, that means sharing ownership, solving complex problems together and staying connected to the customer context, the purpose behind the work and how each role contributes to meaningful outcomes.

We deliver secure, resilient and innovative technology services that enable Defence enterprise and warfighting capabilities across multiple classified domains and networks. We provide world-class ICT operations and agile digital modernisation using advanced analytics, automation, hybrid cloud, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, cybersecurity and AI to optimise highly complex, mission-critical environments.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Technical Support Administrator to join our Level 2 Service Desk within our Digital Modernisation Division, working in some of the most complex, multi-vendor tech environments alongside a supportive and collaborative team.

This opportunity would suit an IT professional who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating with others and continuing to learn. You’ll apply your technical expertise across infrastructure, applications and operating systems while helping to maintain seamless IT operations. This is a 24/7 rotating shift role.

The position will only be open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants. The filling of this position is intended to constitute an equal opportunity measure under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 ( Cth).*

You will:

- Accept and resolve escalated tickets from the Level 1 Service Desk.

- Monitor and administer storage technologies, including SAN/NAS and block and file storage.

- Monitor storage fabric, software-defined networking, routing and switching, and hyper-converged infrastructure.

- Monitor and resolve application processing and operating system incidents across Windows, Unix and Linux.

- Participate in shift work to support 24/7 service coverage.

About You
We are looking for someone who brings judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach to work that matters.

You will bring:

- An interest in providing technical support and resolving complex issues.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

- An adaptable approach to new requirements and problem sets, with a commitment to continuous learning.

This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen, gain and be able to maintain a Baseline security clearance.

If this role interests you, we encourage you to apply. We value different experiences and are interested in the capability and potential you could bring.
