Shipping Associate

Join Life Fitness / Hammer Strength as a Shipping Associate and play an important role in getting our fitness equipment and parts safely and accurately to customers around the world. You’ll prepare and load domestic and international shipments, verify product quality and quantities, operate material handling equipment, and work closely with your team to keep shipments moving safely and efficiently.
Location: Owatonna, MN
Shift: Day Shift

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing things right. You’ll have the independence to manage your work while communicating closely with your supervisor and teammates in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
As our Shipping Associate, you will:

- Pull parts and finished goods from inventory and deliver them to designated shipment staging areas.

- Inspect outgoing products and shipments for quality.

- Verify product quantities and configurations before shipment.

- Prepare, package, wrap, and load products according to Life Fitness shipping specifications.

- Rotate finished goods as required.

- Maintain accurate warehouse and shipping documentation.

- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, banders, stretch wrap equipment, and other material handling tools.

- Use scales, scan guns, common hand tools, and impact wrenches as needed.

- Identify and report equipment or process concerns to your supervisor.

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

- Work with teammates to safely maneuver products during trailer loading.

- Perform other related duties as needed to support warehouse and shipping operations.

Required

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.

- Ability to routinely work with others to maneuver or slide products into trailers.
Preferred

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous forklift operating experience.

- Experience using scan guns and entering data.

- Familiarity with manufacturing operations.

- Previous inventory experience.

- Transportation, warehousing, shipping, or material-handling experience.

Your base wage will be between $21.50 - $25.38 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
