About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Manager based in Brazil.

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and results-driven Social Media Manager to strengthen the online presence of a U.S.-based personal injury and workers' compensation law firm and its lead attorney. In this role, you will take ownership of social media content creation, video editing, publishing, and audience engagement across multiple platforms. You will transform raw footage, photos, and professional insights into compelling short-form videos and engaging posts that resonate with U.S. audiences. Your work will help increase brand visibility, strengthen professional relationships, and build trust with potential clients. You will collaborate directly with the lead attorney to develop authentic, culturally relevant content aligned with the firm's identity. This is a fully remote opportunity for someone who combines creativity, strong communication skills, and independent execution.

Accountabilities:

- Video Content Creation: Edit raw video footage provided by the firm and lead attorney into polished, engaging, and high-performing short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media formats.

- Content Writing and Copywriting: Create compelling, audience-appropriate captions and written content tailored to different communication styles, including the firm's professional brand and the attorney's personal brand.

- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and publish content consistently across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.

- Multi-Account Management: Coordinate content distribution across the firm's official social media channels and the lead attorney's personal Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, ensuring consistency while adapting messaging to each audience.

- Community Engagement: Monitor comments and incoming messages, respond where appropriate, and support meaningful interactions that strengthen audience relationships and engagement.

- Personal Brand Development: Maintain visibility and engagement within the attorney's professional network, helping establish a strong and recognizable online presence.

- Cultural Relevance and Brand Alignment: Adapt content, messaging, and communication styles to reflect U.S. audience expectations, cultural nuances, and industry standards.

- Content Collaboration: Work directly with the lead attorney to transform raw photos, personal updates, professional achievements, and firm insights into engaging social media content.

- Content Optimization: Apply effective video editing techniques, including strong opening hooks, captions, pacing, and platform-specific formatting, to improve content performance and audience retention.

Requirements:

- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts and producing video content, preferably for U.S.-based companies.

- Strong proficiency in modern video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva.

- Demonstrated experience creating dynamic short-form videos optimized for social media platforms, including Reels, TikTok videos, and YouTube Shorts.

- In-depth understanding of content publishing strategies and platform-specific best practices across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to produce natural, engaging, and culturally relevant content for U.S. audiences.

- Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences, tones, and brand identities.

- Experience managing multiple social media accounts and maintaining consistent publishing schedules.

- Ability to monitor audience engagement, manage basic community interactions, and maintain a professional online presence.

- Previous experience in social media marketing for law firms, personal injury practices, workers' compensation firms, or other competitive, high-intent local service businesses is highly preferred.

- Proactive and self-directed approach, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, identify potential challenges, and recommend practical solutions.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and ability to collaborate directly with business leaders.

Benefits:

- Salary: USD 1,200–1,500 per month.

- Fully remote working arrangement from Brazil.

- Full-time employment opportunity.

- Standard working hours aligned with U.S. Eastern Time (EST).

- U.S. federal holidays observed.

- Opportunity to work directly with a U.S.-based legal team and contribute to the growth of its digital presence.

- International work environment with exposure to U.S. marketing strategies and professional audiences.

- Opportunity to develop expertise in short-form video production, personal branding, and multi-platform social media management.

- Collaborative environment that values creativity, autonomy, and professional growth.
