We are seeking an experienced Technical Team Lead – Microsoft Business Applications & AI Transformation to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise solutions built on the Microsoft Business Applications platform. In this role, you will provide technical leadership for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, and emerging AI capabilities, helping clients accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.
You will work closely with clients, solution architects, functional consultants, and development teams to design scalable, high-quality solutions that solve complex business challenges. As a technical leader, you will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and ensure successful project delivery from architecture through implementation.
Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.

- Design scalable solution architectures leveraging Microsoft Business Applications, Azure, Power Platform, Dataverse, and AI capabilities where appropriate.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing guidance throughout project delivery.

- Lead technical workstreams including custom development, integrations, data migration, and systems engineering.

- Drive solution quality through architecture reviews, code reviews, technical documentation, testing, and governance processes.

- Identify technical risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve complex implementation challenges.

- Collaborate with project managers to support project planning, prioritization, and successful delivery across multiple engagements.

- Mentor and develop technical consultants through coaching, code reviews, and technical leadership.

- Stay current with Microsoft technologies and drive the adoption of best practices across Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Platform, and AI-enabled solutions.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or Dynamics AX) solutions.

- 5+ years of consulting or professional services experience working with enterprise clients.

- Strong expertise in X++ development and customization within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

- Experience designing and implementing enterprise solution architectures for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

- Working knowledge of Azure services, Power Platform, and Dataverse for end-to-end Microsoft Business Applications solutions.

- Experience leading technical teams or technical workstreams on enterprise implementation projects.

- Strong understanding of integrations, data migration, and systems engineering concepts.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage technical and business audiences, including senior client leadership.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex technical problems, and deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Power Platform, Azure, or Microsoft Business Applications.

- Experience incorporating Microsoft AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or AI-powered automation, into enterprise solutions.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

- Experience mentoring and developing technical teams in a consulting environment.

- Knowledge of C#/.NET and modern integration patterns is a plus.
